What are Corsets Made of?

All Ma Corsetière corsets are made of 100% silk and corsetry coutil fabrics made of natural fibers. We use only the finest silks - mulberry silk of 6A grade from the oldest region of silk production in China, commonly labeled the ‘hometown of silk’. All coutil is produced abroad, outside of the USA. We use 100% natural cotton weave corsetry coutil, allowing the skin to breath. A garment is only as good as the pieces it is made from, and at Ma Corsetière, we settle for nothing but the best.
